Position Junior Accountant

Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records by handling data entry related to invoicing, bank transactions, and receipts. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and maintain financial data related to invoices, purchase orders, and receipts into our accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system for financial documents.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
  • Adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Prior experience in accounting or data entry is a plus.
  • Languages: fluent in English and French (spoken and written)

Customer Care Representative
Pelican International Services is in immediate need of a Customer Care Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping documentation. We like to encourage repeat business among our customers, so we take customer service seriously. Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for responding immediately to customer questions and needs. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position.

Main Function:
– You will be responsible for the administrative follow-up and logistics of orders
– Coordination on a daily basis with customers and follow up on their shipping needs from documentation issuance, to invoicing and follow-up of payments

Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Transport and Logistics or any other relevant field
– Opening for: Fresh graduate or Junior Level

Required skills:
– Willing to learn, communicative, positive and a good team-spirit
– Service-minded, customer-focused
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Well organized
– Flexible and can work autonomously
– Computer literate.
